Welcome to Villa Rur in Monschau

We at monschau-fewo would like to give you a wonderful time in our holiday home - a historic half-timbered house - and introduce you to the extraordinary nature of the Northern Eifel around Monschau.

The Villa Rur was built in 1913 and initially served as a ballroom for the Monschau Society. It was later used as a gymnasium. The previous owner of the house renovated it lovingly and with attention to detail. Original items from the gymnasium can be found throughout the house, some of which have been converted into furniture.

Villa Rur is an ideal starting point for numerous hikes and activities. In the evening, the old town of Monschau, which is just a few minutes' walk away, invites you to stroll or you can end the evening in one of the numerous restaurants with rustic terraces.
